Red Leaves

The tree in my grandma's backyard is already changing colors, so I took some pictures of the leaves this afternoon. I'm so excited for fall!

Arrooooo

This is my Beagle/Pointer mix, Mac. He thinks he's a husky, but his howl kinda comes out as this funny sounding whine!

Sunflowers

These flowers were along the road by the soccer fields, so I shot some pictures as the sun was going down. They're so pretty!

Philadelphia

Today my Dad & I went to the Philadelphia area to go see the Flyers practice, unfortunately the practice got canceled. Instead we went to the Battleship New Jersey (first shot), got some cheesesteaks and went around the city. The second picture is the Logan Square fountain, the third and fourth shots were taken from the Spring Garden Street bridge.

School Days

School is fully back in motion for me. I've got books hidden in drawers, stacked on and under my desk, and more in my closet! These are just a few of my school books, and one book in a series I'm reading for my own personal reading likes.

Hawk Mountain

Today I headed up to Hawk Mountain to do some hiking and hawk-watching. It was a great afternoon, I saw my first Osprey, Merlin, Sharp-Shinned Hawk and more. North Lookout is pictured in the first panoramic picture. The second is of a Red-Tailed Hawk that came right over us, he was a big guy! Hockey Time

I got this Flyers jersey on sale really cheap - for $15! I'm quite excited for the upcoming season, I'm pretty sure it's going to be a good one!

Hiding

It took four pictures for this panoramic to be stitched together. It was so pretty out this morning with the clouds and the sun having burst through momentarily - then retreating back up into the clouds! Click here for the full-size picture!

Vibrant

Happy first day of fall! It's pretty nice outside and I'm enjoying it thus far!

Big World

I found this little guy outside tonight and took some pictures of him. I haven't seen any lightning bugs around in quite some time come to think of it!

Signs of Fall

Our yellow mums are beginning to bud & bloom, a few tree's with colorful patches of leaves, and chilly nights with dew all point to fall. School is back in and everything is beginning to flow, it's nice to be back into rhyme.

Fair Fun

Last fair picture for the year! It was a really fun, especially today. My sister won second place in the bale-throwing competition for her age group. My friend and I placed first and fourth (I was fourth, haha) in our age groups. It was a good time!

Tractor Pulls

Today the tractor pulls were going on throughout the day at the fair. My brother & I were watching them for quite some time (they're his favorite part, and one of my favorite parts of the fair too). I really love the second picture in black & white!

Ducklings

Some little ducklings at the fair! Our town fair has finally begun, and I could be more excited. These cuties were in the 'Farmer for a Day' tent, it's really cute!

Division

I love the view we have from my deck, it's so wide and vast. It makes for pretty awesome panoramic when the weather is neat. the clouds were really funky this afternoon, you can see where it was raining and where it wasn't yet. (The split is in the middle.) Philadelphia Victory

Tonight my sister & I had won some really great tickets for the Philadelphia Phillies game against the Washington Nationals. Cliff Lee shut the Nat's out for a 5-0 win. It was my second game (I saw my first in August 07), and a darn pretty good one! The second picture is a three-shot panoramic.

Fair Craziness

The local fair starts on Thursday and this past week we've been getting entries and such ready for it. I'm entering 18 pictures, and these Zucchini brownies!

Wet & Wild

This Sunday was part of the Wet & Wild weekend at the local lake. Dogs typically aren't allowed in, but they were allowed this weekend for agility competitions (which sadly got rained out Saturday) and water retrival competitions. My own dog, (third picture!) Bo, really enjoyed the water! It was a really fun time, I'm looking forward to it next year.

Salt & Pepper

We have two salt and two pepper shakers, I'm not sure why, - but they're cute! I prefer the older ones (to the back) instead of the weird new ones personally. It's been raining for five days, but it's supposed to be nice tomorrow - so I'll have better pictures!

Their Lives

Chilly air, lots of rains, more long sleeved shirts on the streets & checking baseball stats to see who's going to be in the playoffs and September has rolled back around. Once again, the eleventh day of the month is too, marking the death of too many at the hands of crashing buildings. Honestly, it's just a better reminder why we need to be praying for ours troops, who are sacrificing their own lives so that we don't have to worry about things like that any longer.

Summer Skies

The end of summer is approaching, most everyone has gotten back into school and the rhythm of it all is slowly becoming life again. Today felt like a cool fall day, it was lovely outside. I'm working on my blog..hang in there.

Abadonment

My Dad's old bike has two flat tires, chipped paint, and brakes that don't work, just to name a few things wrong with the old thing! Now it's begun a part of the scenery.

Sticky Happiness

Lately my sister has been trying all kinds of different recipes to see what works and what well, doesn't, so she can enter things in the fair. Today she made sticky buns, they were pretty awesome!

Fungii

Over the weekend about five or six mushrooms popped up in my nieghbors yard, they're really amussing me so I took some pictures this afternoon!

Revelation Generation: Day Two

Today was a full day of concerts, to name a few I saw: Seabird, Needtobreathe, Fireflight (first picture), Barlowgirl (second), Flyleaf, Relient K (third), and lastly, Switchfoot (fourth). They were all pretty amazing! Sorry for the late post.

Revelation Generation

This weekend there's a christian music fesitval I'm at. Tonight I saw Matthew West (not pictured), Jars of Clay (top), and Mercy Me (bottom two). They were all great, but I'd have to say Jars of Clay was my favorite!

Motion

This is a two minute exposure of tonight's really neat sky. I tried a thirty minute exposure, but it didn't work sadly! I'll try again another night, for now enjoy this.

Crash the Party

Today I made a practice cake for the fair. Hamburger cupcakes, ants as M&M's, and a picnic table icing pattern made it pretty cute!

Valley Night

Nighttime in the valley. There was a pretty pink hue tonight, made for okay pictures.
