A sunny day, blue skies, and warm weather! Another nice combination that says spring is approaching. I spent an hour outside photographing the birds today, my goal was to get a good picture of a Tufted Titmouse and Chickadee. Well..one down, one to go!

Nice shot! It doesn't seem to always work, as they'll usually ignore me if they're busy eating, but if you say "pshh" a bunch of times, quickly, a bit like an irritated Carolina Wren (http://www.birds.cornell.edu/AllAboutBirds/audio/Carolina_Wren.html about 3/4 of the way in) the chickadees will usually hop onto a closer branch to see you. I've had one stand on an overhang right above my head before from repeatedly doing that. :)
