This couple had a great afternoon to take a Sunday ride. I love old cars, they're like a living chuck of history.

Today has been quite possibly, one of the best days of my life thus far. (picture wise at least!) My town had their annual Covered Bridge Festival, complete with Helicopter rides for $20.Pretty fantastic view, I couldn't really ask for a better day to go up either! We had planned on going to Lancaster County to chase some trains, we saw these guys waiting for the train.

Aren't they sweet? Next came the train, we had a ball chasing it, this is one of my favorite pictures from the chase.
The American flags just kinda complete it! We took some shots of it coming into the station, and the engineer proceeded to ask me if I'd like to come up and see the cab..would I EVER!
This is the view from the Engineers seat, I'd love to sit here for a ride, it was pretty cool. We saw some hot air balloons in the distance, and because my Dad was really peppy, and my sister loves balloons, we decided to go find that too.For the climax of this wonderful day, we came through the city to find the baseball fireworks going off.It was a gorgeous day out, full of a lot of fun and picture taking! This is only a few of the best ones I took today, there's tons more I'll put on my Flickr account later once I get the link set up.

Tonight I helped serve at a dinner theater, with live music and flaming food! It was wonderful night full of fun and fellowship for a great cause, Operation Christmas Child. The theater was a fundraiser for our group is going down this fall to the packing center in North Carolina. We had a full house, a hundred and fifty people!

This is my big puppy, Bo. We planted grass, and it's so nice and full now. He stays much, much cleaner than when it was just dirt! He loves rolling around in it too.

A Moscovy duck I saw at the park today. At least that's what I'm pretty sure it is, I've never seen anything quite like it before. Weird looking little guys!

More rain, I'm really missing the sunny days we had over the weekend. I feel really drained today, so this is the best I've got.

There's something in the air! I saw a baby deer today, and this little bunny. They were sooo cute, all the babies these days!

This picture reminds me of the song America the Beautiful, with the line "purple mountain majesty." How beautiful is God's creation?

See that awesome bolt of heat lightning? I'm very happy with this. I was hoping to capture some and I did! I'm really excited for later thunderstorms this year now! This was only heat lightning, while travels from cloud to cloud. But the real stuff will go straight down and be awesomer.

These little guys just melted my heart, they were too cute. Today was busy, my sister graduated preschool, and we went to the park. The boys caught a snake, small snapping turtle, multiple crayfish, a baby duck, and they almost had a frog.

Our tree has tiny little buds on them, so I took some pictures at sunset of them silhouetted against the sky. Came out nice.

Today I thought I had taken some pictures, but I realized I hadn't. So, I quick breathed some life into our dying fire and grabbed my camera!

15 hours in transit later and I'm back home safe a sound. This is along the Hudson River in New York, it was so pretty. I'd love to live up there!

I really like this picture, so I decided I'd have two flower picture days in a row (although this has a lot of focus on the hands as well).

We're gonna plant these pretty flowers tomorrow, today was a bit soggy! Made for lovely pictures though!

The Saint Genevieve river is just a block down the street from my friend's house. We went around twilight tonight and it was lovely. Got a bit bitten up by the mosquitoes though!

This is part of the skyline of Montreal. I was on a train for rougly 11 hours today, and now I found myself with a very good friend and her family. I'll be here until next Wednesday!

A little bit more new life! This is from my little sister's visit to kindergarten. They rode the school bus around the parking lot from the preschool, and planted flowers with one of the classes.

Anyone who knows me also knows that I have a love for cows. I find them adorable, and I wanted to take these guys home with me. They seemed to like me, and were nice and photogenic for me. Not moving, looking when I whistled, better than my sister!

I saw the grass kinda swaying with the light breeze and my Mom allowed me a minute to snap a few pictures. It was so pretty!

I just took this picture before we left, so I'm quick putting it up. This is the 100th day I've had a picture, so I'm pretty proud! I hope to keep it going.

I caught this little guy sneaking some nectar in my neighbor's garden. I snapped a few before he was off again! Also, tomorrow's POTD may not be up until Saturday.

Everything is so green now, it makes for much happier and brighter pictures! I really liked this old barn nestled in the woods, I'll have to go back and shoot it sometime.

I saw the deep blues in the valley tonight and couldn't resist going out and trying my new filters. They work marvelously, I really am enjoying them!

For the past few days it has rained all day. It finally stopped tonight, but it was pouring when I snapped this picture. Behind the leaves there's the raindrops falling.

These are the first buttercups I've seen so far, and they were hiding very nicely in between the fence pickets.

I am now the proud owner of a polarizer, ND2, and cross filters! This I took before I got them though, lol. Two ticks tagged found me while I was shooting, but it was well worth the shot.

Rain rain rain! I wish we'd get some thunder and lightning, I can't wait to try and take pictures of it!
