Tonight was our homeschool group's closing program. This was part of the art show, an origami forest made my the 5-6th grade girls, very creative!

It looked as thought it was a good sunset (I couldn't view it where I was) so I went out on the deck and took some 30 second exposures.

These guys are so pretty, they're completely in their summer plumage now and they stand out! That combined with the green trees and hills are making for such a refreshing spring. Although it was close to 90 degree's today, yuck!

A bible that was in church this afternoon. I really like the colors in this picture, I experimented with some different WB's before I got the perfect one.

One of the waterfalls up at camp, the lighting was pretty. That combined with a slow shutter..I love it!

I'm very excited about this siting! There is apparently one or two pairs of bluebirds nesting in the cemetary, or at least visiting. Note: I'll be away this weekend, so Saturday's POTD will be up on Sunday. - But believe me, it will be taken!

I've been meaning to take this picture for a few weeks now, and today proved to be the day where the lighting/sky matched up! It was so nice today, my favorite temperatures. (Taken with my old camera)

Just a quick picture I took of my little sister today. It was lovely this afternoon, now it's storming. Sadly no lightning, I wanted to photograph it.

Not one of my favorite pictures of the day in a while, but it's not that bad. I like the sharp high contrast. (No edits done on this picture) It's a daffodil my sister picked up after she kicked it over with her soccer ball. lol.

I like how the colors kind of match. They're all in the general green category. I changed the header/banner, now it's springy!

This is Tucker. He's basically the mascot of the national park we went to this afternoon. He's a cutie. All the dogs really enjoyed the creek on this hot day!

These guys are looking so pretty! I love their bright yellow plumage. It stands out so nicely.

This is my favorite little sister everr! I really love this kid..she's got a mind and style of her own. Maybe it's just a preschooler fad, but she'll be cooler in my mind waaay longer. :)

You know what they say, April showers bring May flowers! The tulips are just starting to bud, although the daffodils already are. Most of the tree's are still completely brown. It's defiantly a late spring!

Turkey Vulture circling above Hawk Mountain this morning, they were down pretty low, and we were up pretty high. I had an awesome time hiking, it was great to be back up there.

My sister made a lovely Easter cake for our family dinner/dessert at my grandma's house. It looked gorgeous, and was extremely yummy too!

Some pretty blossoms against dark shadows made for some really nice contrast, and I really like this one.

My psychology teacher said that then people were surveyed what they first thought of when they heard the word "love" was a mothers love. Tender and caring.

Introducing..Squirt! My sister's hermit crab. I had some pretty pictures of cherry blossoms but my camera was left in my grandparents car, so this was a quicky taken tonight with my old camera. He was in our pizza box obstacle course. (Crayons, pizza tables, shells, the whole nine yards)

It's tonights sky. There were a few stray clouds, so I decided to go for the wisp affect. Didn't really work..but it's ok.

Tonight me and my little sister did some Easter egg decorating. We didn't hard boil them, we blew them instead. My friend Klazane did this, (click here for her post) and I really wanted to try it! Ours are not quite as pretty, but they're pretty cute.

A family friend's adorable pooch. Her name is Jenny, and she's quite the cutie.
